The VOR Christmas event is a meaningful opportunity to share the joy and hope of the Christmas story with refugees. For many of our refugee families, this season is not just about celebration but also about discovering God’s love in a personal way. Through this event, hosted at the First Baptist Church of Anaheim on Saturday, December 7th, we aim to create an environment where families can experience the warmth of community, hear the message of Christmas, and learn about the hope and peace that Christ brings.
Volunteers are essential to making this event impactful. You can join us from 7 AM to 2 PM for the full day, or if that feels too long, you can help set up from 7 AM to 10 AM or arrive at 10 AM to assist with activities and stay for teardown afterward, wrapping up by 1 PM. Your time and service will make a difference in showing God’s love to our refugee neighbors this Christmas season.
